The Head of the Chemistry Department Publishes a Scientific Paper on the Preparation of a Copolymer from a Nano-composite by the Reaction between Pentaerythritl and Phthalic Anhydride

Publication of Scientific Research

The Head of the Chemistry Department (Prof. Dr. Sajid Hassan Kazzar) published a research entitled (Removal of Pollution with Dye Orange-G from Waste Water by Using Novel Nano Co_ polymer). In the International Journal (NeuroQuantology | February 2022 | Volume 20 | Issue 2 | Page 44-50 |).
The research concluded that the preparation of the copolymer from the nanocomposite by the reaction between Pentaerythritl and phthalic anhydride. Infrared spectroscopy technique and AFM technique were used for the purpose of polymer nanoparticle diagnosis. Thus, the ability of the synthetic polymer to absorb the Orange-G dye present in aqueous solutions was found. It was found that the nanopolymer has an average height of 5.26 nm.
