Head of the Chemistry Department Publishes a Scientific Paper on the Effect of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

The Head of the Department of Chemistry (Asst. Prof. Dr. Sajid Hassan Kazzar) published a research entitled (The Effects of Trace Element levels on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in human female Sat Thi-Qar governorate/Iraq). In the international journal (Research J. Pharm. and Tech)
The research concluded that: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder in women with heterogeneous clinical and biochemical features. A diverse and complex female endocrine disorder, PCOS affects 1 in 15 women worldwide. PCOS produces symptoms in about 5% to 10% of women of childbearing age 12-45 years. An abnormal menstrual cycle may be the most common symptom.
