Head of the Chemistry Department Publishes a Scientific Paper on Cured Epoxy Resins – Lignin

The Head of the Chemistry Department (Prof. Dr. Sajid Hassan Kazzar) published a research entitled (Heavy Metals Removal from Aqueous Solution Using (Cured Epoxy resin- lignin) Nanomagnetic Interpenetrating Polymer Network). In the International Journal (J Nanostruct 12(1): 204-212, Winter 2022).
The research concluded that (cured epoxy resin – lignin) is the interlocking nano-magnetic polymer network (IPN)] (NM – IPN’s) derived from epoxy cured with an amine promoter. Lignin was synthesized by chain polymerization in the presence of magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles.
