Scientific Symposium

Within the series of scientific activities conducted by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences… and under the guidance of the respected Ms. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof.Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman). The college, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the university’s presidency, held a scientific symposium titled (Ending Gender-Based Violence) delivered by (Prof. Haider Salman Mohsen). It was attended by teachers, researchers and a group of students.
Its aim was to discuss several axes, including the definition of violence against women and girls, which is considered one of the most common types of human rights violation and has serious short and long-term physical and psychological consequences for women in society, which prevents their full and equal participation in society. We wish more creativity and progress in the field of scientific activities aimed at serving our dear college, and from God Almighty, success and payment.
