A Lecturer from the Department of Biology Participates in the Scientific Symposium on the Occasion of the First Day of the 16-day Campaign to Combat Violence Against Women
(Prof. Dr. Yasmine Khudair Khalaf), Chairperson of the Women’s Empowerment Committee at the Presidency of the University of Karbala and a teacher in the Department of Life Sciences, attended the scientific symposium entitled (Women’s Position in the Communication Phenomenon – Fluctuations of Ideologies and Religion), which was delivered by Professor of Media Philosophy Dr. (Imran Kazem Al-Karkushi) . The symposium aimed to understand the relationship of the image of women issued by the media to global ideological systems and their philosophical, economic, and political conflicts. The most prominent manifestations of violence practiced against women, and he wears the garment of defending her, and indicated that the essence of development is gender equality, empowering women and inspiring them to overcome obstacles for a brighter future. The lecture came on the occasion of the (16) days campaign to eliminate violence against women.
