Within the series of scientific activities conducted by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences… and under the guidance of the respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof.Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman), the Department of biology in our college organized a panel discussion entitled (The Ladybug, Girls of the Eid), which was delivered by the instructor (Prof. Dr. Israa Nasser Ghulam) This workshop was attended by a group of lecturers and those interested. Where the episode included a detailed explanation of ladybugs or spotted beetles, scientific name: Coccinellidae in English: ladybug They are insects that are one of the well-known species of beetle and with full development spread in most parts of the earth. There are more than 5000 species in North America alone, more than 450 other species. As it has a length of 1 to 8 mm, it is called “Mary’s beetle”, in Hebrew they call it “the cow of our master Moses”. We wish for more creativity and progress in the field of scientific activities aimed at serving our dear college, and from God Almighty, success and payment.
