The Department of Biology Holds a Panel Discussion on the Ecological and Economic Importance of the Black Soldier Fly and the House

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a seminar held by the Department of biology entitled (The environmental and economic importance of the black soldier fly and the house) by (Asst. Dr. Mona Ibrahim Jassim Al-Moussawi).
The seminar aimed to shed light on the importance of the black soldier fly from an environmental and economic point of view, and how developed countries care about this type of insect because it contributes to improving the environment in terms of eliminating waste, as well as its economic importance in providing feed for poultry and fish. The necessity of researching this type of insect to contribute to serving the country was discussed.
