The Minister of Education Reveals the Authorization of a Number of his Non-Exclusive Powers
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, revealed that he has delegated a number of his non-exclusive legal powers to deputies, general managers, presidents of universities and their councils. This came when he chaired the meeting of the advanced owners of the Ministry of Integrated Science and Technology, where he affirmed the work in the spirit of one team and the adoption of success as a primary goal in the policy steps adopted in the institutions of higher education, scientific research, science, and technology. He added that the opportunities and ingredients for success are available in the higher education environment and its scientific centers and departments despite the current financial challenges, pointing out that the ministry’s budget is limited in comparison to its functions and tasks entrusted to it to achieve community service in the field of education, research and scientific publishing. He stressed the activation of the scientific, practical, and technical aspects simultaneously, drawing a clear path for the development of research work, defining a chart of the level of performance in scientific and educational institutions, benefiting from patents and the outputs of important departments concerned with agricultural research, environment, water, and information technology. He added that granting non-exclusive legal powers aims to give impetus to direct action, facilitate the administrative system and ease central procedures.
