Training Course

Within the series of scientific activities held by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences… and under the patronage of the respected Mrs. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman), the Department of biology held an in-person training course entitled (the importance of nutrients and their role in plant growth and Diagnosing the symptoms of its deficiency) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays corresponding to 1-2-3/11/2022. The course was delivered by two lecturers: (Asst. Dr. Fatima Karim Khudair) and (Asst. Dr. Qoyod Thiubaan Youssef). The objectives of the session were as follows:

1- Identify the functions of essential nutrients for plants.
2- Methods of diagnosing nutritional deficiency.
3- The movement of nutrients within the plant and its relationship to the places where the symptoms of deficiency symptoms appear in the plant.
