A Lecturer from the Department of Mathematics Participates in a Workshop Held by the Iraqi Mathematical Society in Cooperation with the University of Al-Qadisiyah

Workshop

The Lecturer (Prof. Dr. Riyadh Delfi Ali) from the Department of Mathematics participated in a workshop held by the Iraqi Mathematical Society in cooperation with two departments of mathematics in the Faculties of Education and Science at the University of Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Anwar Center for Development and Education entitled (Number Theory and Its Applications). The workshop program included opening ceremonies and giving three lectures as follows:

1. A lecture entitled “The generalized prime systems with some examples” by Prof. Fayez Ali Rashid, Dean of the College of Science for Women, University of Babylon
2. A lecture entitled “Lecture entitled” by Assistant Professor Dr. Rami Karim Khader / College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Babylon.
3. A lecture entitled “On Diophantine equations involving Lucas sequences” by Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Rahim Hashem / College of Computer Science and Mathematics / University of Kufa.
The lectures focused on several axes, including the definition of number theory, the historical stages it went through, the most prominent scientific figures who worked in this field, and the applied role of number theory in various fields of life, especially in coding magazines and information confidentiality, regardless of whether they were political, military, or scientific. Numbers in the formation of complex ciphers to ensure the confidentiality of information, especially here the importance of prime numbers in this area emerged very clearly. Now the science derived from the analysis and composition of prime numbers (the science of cryptography) has emerged and is specialized in encrypting information, images, and digital data of all kinds. We wish the teacher more joint scientific cooperation between our college and the rest of the colleges and universities, and God Almighty grants success and payment.
