The Honorable Mrs. Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, participated in the opening ceremony of Ahmed Al-Waeli Hospital affiliated to the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, which is an important and giant medical project that is the first of its kind in Iraq as it is a general medicine hospital, but it is dedicated to treating women exclusively, which includes the Khadija Al-Kubra Specialized Hospital for Women and Al-Mujtaba Hospital for the treatment of blood and bone marrow diseases. The hospital consists of two phases, the first with an area of (1300) square meters, comprising (11) floors, and the area of each floor becomes two thousand meters, and the total area of the hospital is (22000) square meters. The number of beds in the two stages is (213), and the total number of inpatient rooms is (120) inpatient rooms, distributed in 13 rooms in layers (from 1 to 4) and five rooms in the eighth and ninth floors, and it has eight operating theaters. In the ground layer were placed radiology and emergency rooms, which consisted of (12) beds, ultrasound and the first examination. The first layer included the laboratory, the rooms of doctors and nurses, and the blood bank. The second layer contained consulting clinics and rooms for doctors and nurses. The third layer also included recovery rooms and rooms for doctors and nurses, and in the fourth layer there was an administration The hospital, the cafeteria hall for the auditors and accompanying patients, a meeting room, and on the fifth floor there are maternity halls, recovery halls, four operating theaters, and four others in the sixth floor, in addition to intensive care rooms and sterilization rooms, while the seventh, eighth and ninth layers include intensive care rooms, quarantine halls and private nursing rooms.
