Reduction of Wages, Non-Failure, and Occupancy of Postgraduate Seats
In compliance with its policy of providing a university environment that responds in a balanced way to scientific requirements and current changes, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the implementation of the following decisions for the next academic year 2023/2022: ▪️ Continuing to reduce parallel education wages in the morning primary study by 50 % for all stages. ▪️ Authorizing the councils of departments, scientific branches, colleges and universities councils – morning studies, as well as supervisory bodies in universities – evening studies – the legal powers to reduce tuition fees by up to 25%. ▪️ Considering the school year 2021/2020 as the year of non-failure for students whose restrictions are registered in the preliminary studies, except for those who are covered by disciplinary penalties, cheating and forgery, and they will be commenced in the next academic year 2023/2022. ▪️ Working with the powers of the councils of universities and colleges and the recommendations of departments and scientific branches regarding reducing the wages of postgraduate studies within the private alimony channel by up to 25%. ▪️ Rotating and occupying more than five thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine vacant seats in graduate studies by rotating applicants from the general admission channel to the private alimony channel and rotating seats among the categories of martyrs’ families according to eligibility and requests submitted in the absence of competitors and according to the application and admission controls for the academic year 2023/2022. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirms its pursuit of achieving the goals of university institutions, performing their academic tasks and responsibilities, taking into account community service and securing its scientific and educational requirements.
