Supporting the Student Football Team in Local and International Competitions

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, directed the allocation of a financial grant to rehabilitate the Student Club stadium and support the football team in local and international competitions.
This came when he visited the headquarters of the Student Sports Club and was briefed on the team’s stadium and its annexes from the sports halls and administrative facilities, in the presence of the president of the temporary administrative body of the club, Dr. Ali Hamid Al Shukri, and the Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department in the Ministry, Dr. Asaad Ghani Jihad, and listening to a number of members of the club’s fans’ association who appreciated this Attention and follow-up that yielded positive results in terms of competition in the Iraqi league.
The Minister of Education renewed the ministry’s commitment to providing possible support to the club and rehabilitating its football stadium in accordance with the approved standard specifications that allow hosting matches and tournaments and performing quality sporting events, directed by allocating a financial grant in this direction based on the legal and administrative contexts and powers.
The Minister of Education listened to a full briefing from the president of the club’s temporary administrative body regarding the horizon of participation and the requirements imposed by the nature of the club’s sports competitions, attracting players and representing the team in a way that suits its history, stars and results that the Iraqi football march is full of.
