The Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs Prof. Dr. (Mohammed Nazem Bahjat), chaired the discussion of a doctoral thesis for the student (Abdullah Abdul Latif Abdullah) from the Department of Chemistry – College of Science – University of Basra on Thursday, in 5/26/2022 . The thesis entitled (Synthesis and Characterization of Some Polymers for Oil Spill Remediation). The thesis included: Preparation and diagnosis of new grafted polymers and their use in absorbing oil spills in water And this work is a real deal in the preservation of the marine aquatic environment.
