The Meeting of the Minister of Education with the Administrative Staff of the Student Club
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, held a meeting with the temporary administrative body of the Student Club and urged investing in the positive results of the football team and setting a comprehensive road map for the development and rehabilitation of the sports infrastructure of the elegant club. The attendees reviewed the appropriate administrative, legal and logistical preparations for holding the permanent administrative body elections in light of the contexts and mechanisms set forth in the Sports Clubs Law No. 18 of 1986. The Minister of Education directed the formulation of a strategic plan for the Student Club that extends to the horizon of the coming years to be a starting line towards development, overcoming challenges, promoting and attracting creative sports resources, activating the international dimension and effective partnerships in all sports activities. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research discussed with the members of the commission the requirements for rehabilitating the club’s sports infrastructure, especially with regard to the students’ stadium and the provision of financial requirements imposed by the institutional work tracks for the prestigious sports clubs. The Minister of Education listened to a briefing from the president of the temporary administrative body of the club, Dr. Ali Hamid Al Shukri, and its members regarding the results achieved by the football team and the positive indicators observed in the administration, overcoming the challenges in front of the players and enabling the team to achieve important positions in the Iraqi league competitions.
