Iraqi universities conducted the competitive examination for admission to graduate studies for the academic year 2023/2022. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, visited a number of universities and colleges that hosted competitive exams for applicants to the humanities and social sciences. He stressed that nearly fifty thousand students take the competitive examination in thirty-five universities and educational institutions, according to the proven timings that start from the eighteenth of May until the twenty-second of the same month for each of the group of humanities, social, medical, engineering, pure sciences, agricultural, veterinary, administrative and economic sciences. The Minister of Education stressed, during his visit to the faculties of Law, Arts and Islamic Sciences at the Iraqi University and the College of Basic Education at Al-Mustansiriya University, to take into account the requirements of the university environment and its green spaces in light of the normative determinants responsible for the quality of institutional performance and academic accreditation, and to enable students to perform exams in a manner that achieves its objectives and meets the scientific ambition of the competitors. Reserving postgraduate seats in light of the admission plan approved by the universities.
