Panel Discussion
The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences/University of Karbala held a discussion panel entitled (Thin Plates Technology and Reagents Used in Endorsement), delivered by (Prof. Dr. Abdul Bari Mahdi Mahoud Al-Halfi), and the discussion aimed at developing the capabilities of laboratory workers and students of primary and postgraduate studies. The seminar also included a definition of separation techniques in analytical chemistry, a historical overview of their development, classification of separation techniques and their use in quantitative and qualitative estimation, laminate technology, and the foundations of their theoretical work. The doctor explained the practical application of the thin-board technology, how to prepare the panels for laboratory work, and how to endorse.
For his part, the lecturer referred to the reagents used in endorsement, their types, methods of preparation, and technical applications in the separation of mixtures. The discussion was attended by the head of the Chemistry Department and a group of professors and teachers from the department.
