Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences Holds a Scientific Symposium on People with Disabled Persons and Learning Challenges
Department of biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences/University of Karbala held a scientific symposium entitled (People with Disabilities and Learning Challenges), to know the most important challenges that pass in the lives of people with disabilities in the field of education. Noor Al-Imam Al-Hussein Institute, peace be upon him, for the blind and visually impaired.
The association was represented by Mr. Othman Al-Kinani, the association’s president and vice-president of the Sana network, Mr. Karar Sadiq Al-Ghalbi, the vice-president of the Iraqi Al-Siraj Association for the Blind, and the editor Ammar Rumaidh, a member of the administrative board (either), and for the Nour Al-Imam Al-Hussein Institute, it was Mr. Karar Abdul Ali Al-Hujaimi. After welcoming the delegations of the Assembly and the Institute, the proceedings of the symposium began with a speech by Professor Othman Al-Kinani, introducing the attendees to the importance of education for people with disabilities and the most important challenges they face, as well as international conventions and laws that regulate this process in order to reach an inclusive and comprehensive education, similar to people without disabilities. After that, Professor Karar Abdel Ali reviewed the most important The means and methods that are included in the education of the blind and that the Noor Al-Imam Al-Hussain Institute provides to its students in order not to miss the opportunity of education and to achieve their goals in the best and easiest way. For his part, Professor Karrar Al-Ghalbi presented a wonderful development overview with a beautiful story, stressing that disability is energy, and this is what Al-Sarraj Association was keen on transforming disability into energy for all its members through the various activities it provides to them. In conclusion, the Head of the Department of Life Sciences presented a word of thanks and appreciation to the delegations, as well as some professors and students to express their thanks and praise for what was presented in this association.
