Opening of the First Art Exhibition
By the presence of the respected President of the University of Karbala (Prof.Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi), the esteemed Assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Affairs (Prof.Dr. Najm Abdul-Hussein Najm), the esteemed Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman), the Empowerment Unit was established Women On the occasion of International Women’s Day. The first artistic exhibition for female students under the slogan (Women’s Creativity and Excellence) will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022. The exhibition included various works in drawing, calligraphy, writing and handicrafts, with the participation of the Faculty of Physical Education, Law and Pure Sciences. One of the astronomers in Iraq, represented by Dr. (Doaa Diaa Abboud), a lecturer in the Physics Department of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, also participated. The President of the University expressed his thanks for this work, calling for continuation and attention to what has a great impact and role in the success and development of the educational process at Karbala University. In turn, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, praised the role of the Women Empowerment Unit and its efforts to make the first art exhibition that was hosted by the College of Education for Pure Sciences a success.
