The meeting of the Minister of Higher Education with the French Development Agency Horizons of joint cooperation
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, received a delegation from the French Development Agency headed by the Regional Director for the Middle East, Catherine Bono. In the presence of the project officer at the French Development Agency, Serge Senrich, and a number of general managers in the ministry, the two sides discussed the prospects for joint cooperation in the areas of development and coordination requirements to finance a number of projects led by the Research and Health Care Center at Mosul University and to build a specialized hospital that achieves the desired goals of community service. The Minister of Education expressed his thanks to the visiting delegation for the efforts made in the fields of cooperation with Iraq and for arranging the priorities required by the nature of projects in Nineveh Governorate, noting that the Ministry of Education pays great attention to universities that have been damaged due to terrorist gangs of ISIS, and that it places at the forefront of its interest the provision of scientific and research services in cooperation With the relevant authorities in the governorate, especially with regard to the hospital project and the specialized scientific research centers. In turn, the Regional Director in the Middle East, Catherine Bono, expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for strengthening the joint course of action and drawing an accurate map for cooperation in the field of financing, training programs and medical research, and setting the discussions within their positive context that achieves development goals according to deliberate timings that serve the two friendly countries.
