A Visit by a UNICEF Delegation to the College of Education for Pure Sciences

On Thursday, 16/12/2021, a UNICEF delegation visited the College of Education for Pure Sciences, and the delegation received the respected Mrs. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a field visit to the laboratories of the College – Department of Chemistry to thank them for their exceptional effort in manufacturing sterile materials during the Corona pandemic that the world has gone through. Respected, and the respected Mrs. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. (Hamida Idan Salman), the esteemed committee, the organization coordinating with the organization, the laboratory staff and all those who contributed to the process of manufacturing and producing sterilizers. The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Ali Al-Khatib, Director of the Water and Environmental Sanitation Program at UNICEF, Ms. Chandana, UNICEF Adviser in Iraq and Director of the Monitoring and Evaluation Program, and Mr. Hussein Al-Azzawi, UNICEF Regional Coordinator and Specialist in the Water and Environmental Sanitation Program. For its part, the delegation expressed its desire to continue cooperation with our college and their ambition to establish more development projects to serve our universities and our dear country.
