The Professor in the College of Education for Pure Sciences/Department of Life Sciences teacher (Yarob Mudar Jawad) obtained the acceptance to publish a scientific article tagged with the title (Oxidative Toxins (Pesticides Expiry)) by the Scientific Articles Committee at the Presidency of Karbala University after the article fulfilled all publication conditions. (Dr. Dr. Yaroub Mudar Jawad) stated that chemical pesticides (toxic substances) have made an effective contribution to increasing agricultural production and reducing diseases transmitted to humans and animals. Some studies have shown that it is difficult to obtain economic production without the use of these toxic substances in The production process and that not using it leads to a decrease in the production of agricultural crops by 70-50%. Toxic substances may be stored for several seasons and their expiration date may lead to their accumulation in warehouses due to the following reasons: 1- Inaccuracy in determining the actual needs of pesticides and their types. 2- The lack of a balanced consumption policy and the weak efficiency of distribution systems. 3- The difficulty of predicting the agricultural environmental conditions from one season to another, including the degree of infection and the area exposed to infection As a result of these changes, the biological activity of toxic materials stored against pests decreases, and many developing countries have stocks of these obsolete pesticides, the quantities in different countries ranging from several tons to thousands of tons, and the Food and Agriculture Organization has prepared guidelines to prevent the accumulation of unwanted pesticides. and dispose of them in safe and environmentally friendly ways. In 1993, the process of getting rid of one product in an African country amounted to about 4000 dollars per ton, in addition to the purchase price of the product and the costs of transportation and storage, which leads to high costs to large sums that it is difficult for many countries to provide such amounts.
