Training Course
College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course entitled (Internal Auditor for the Laboratory Accreditation System ISO 17025:2017), delivered by the expert, Engineer Talib Hani Al-Khafaji. The course included two axes:
The first axis was about the explanation of the paragraphs of specification 17025:2017 related to qualifying the laboratory for accreditation, which gives a guarantee of the efficiency of the laboratory and the accuracy of the examination results issued by the laboratory and gives immunity to the results as well as gives high confidence to customers in the efficiency of the laboratory work.
As for the second axis, it was about the specification 19011:2011, which is related to qualifying the participants to be internal auditors, allowing them to audit the implementation of the specification 17025:2017, and their obtaining the certificate of the internal auditor that gives them the eligibility to conduct audits with efficiency and accuracy.
The course aimed to prepare an internal auditor for the ISO 17025:2017 laboratory accreditation system, enabling him to perform audit work on the requirements of the above specification and the extent of its application in laboratories. The lecturer recommended the higher departments to pay attention to the accreditation process, follow up the implementation of its requirements, and facilitate the procedures that serve the accreditation process.
