The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences \ University of Karbala organized a training course on the implementation of procedural methods and good laboratory standards (GLP), with the participation of researchers from the college (the lecturers), who are: Prof. Chains of snake Joseph, MD. Mona Ibrahim Jassem, Prof.Dr. Zainab Nizar Jawad. The course aimed to introduce the laboratory quality form for faculties, computers, audio laboratories and educational laboratories, and to clarify the guideline for the laboratory quality form, and to clarify the internal audit and its importance.
The course included identifying how to implement the procedural methods prepared by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and included in the eleventh axis in the laboratory quality form, clarifying internal audit and its importance. In the course, the researchers called for encouraging teaching staff to participate in courses on international ISO systems, providing a database for the quality of educational laboratories, emphasizing the provision of laboratory quality form requirements and applying their standards to increase the confidence of the educational institution’s management in the quality of the performance of its educational product, and activating the role of the auditor. The internal procedure in the college to monitor cases of non-conformance in the laboratories through the procedural method of corrective action and preventive action.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Hamida Aidan Salman said that the college seeks to improve its scientific outputs and to continue the explanatory courses on national standards for a good educational laboratory to raise the level of educational laboratories and achieve continuous development and improvement.
