Memorial
In the presence of the honorable Governor of Karbala, Professor (Nassif Al-Khattabi), and under the patronage of the Honorable President of Karbala University, Professor Dr. (Bassem Khalil Nayel). The University of Karbala has set up a mourning council for the soul of the late martyr Abeer Salim Al-Khafaji, director of the Holy Karbala Municipality, and the Great Hall at the University Presidency, with the participation of professors and university employees, officials of government departments and representatives of the holy shrines, as well as municipality employees. The esteemed Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, and a number of teachers and associates in the college attended the memorial ceremony held by the Presidency of Karbala University, in honor of the martyr engineer Abeer Salim Nasser (may God have mercy on him), the director of the Holy Karbala Municipality. The ceremony’s curriculum included reciting the Noble Qur’an, as well as some poetic excerpts that expressed the loss of a prominent professional figure.
