A Training Course
The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education and Pure Sciences held a training course, entitled (Awareness of the Concept of International Standard 2017-17025). The course was delivered by the representative of the Total Quality Company, the expert consulting engineer, Talib Hani Al-Khafaji, on Tuesday, 25/5/2021. The course aimed to educate the members of the Chemistry Department on the importance of obtaining accreditation from the department for laboratories. Moreover, The consultant, Talib Hani, explained that there are conditions that must be met in the laboratory, such as the types of laboratories, the concept of laboratory accreditation, the benefits of laboratory accreditation, and what is evaluated to show the efficiency of the laboratory and the difference between ISO 9001 and ISO 17025. The course was attended by the head of the department and some professors and Instructors of the department.
