(Mr. Shatha Abdul-Amir Jawad), a teaching assistant in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, obtained a publication for her research tagged (preparation and identification of N2S2 ligand amide and its divalent metal complexes for manganese, zinc and trivalent iron) in the Greek journal (Annals of the Romanlan Society for Cell Biology) is a well-known international scientific journal that is included in the SCOPAS classification group of international scientific journals.
The aim of the research is to prepare and characterize amide compounds that have an anti-bacterial effect, as they are characterized by containing effective functional groups that enable them to inhibit the growth of types of bacteria. Where these compounds showed high effectiveness against two types of bacteria (Aureus Staphlococcus) and (E.coli).
