The Department of Life Sciences holds a training course entitled (Mechanism for new scientific promotions and publication in sober journals with an impact factor)
The Department of Biology Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala held a training course entitled (Mechanism of new scientific promotions and publication in sober journals with an impact factor), delivered by each of Prof. Abd Aoun Hashem Al-Ghanimi and Prof. Ban Taha Muhammad and Mr. Haider Muhammad Ali, on Wednesday 27/1/2021, at the hall of the late Professor Hussein Ali Abdul Latif. and the aim of the course was an introductory briefing on the mechanism of working with modern scientific promotions and the most important instructions issued regarding it. The course also dealt with the standards adopted in scientific promotions related to the first and second schedule, how to solve the problems that the scientific promotion provider faces, and ways to reach the best results to achieve the scientific promotion without problems starting from the scientific department until the university order for promotion is issued. In addition to that, the course included the most important containers for publishing scientific research, and what cite score and Impact factor mean, and how to calculate them. What is meant by Q1-Q4, how it is calculated or extracted, and what is the effect of this on the sobriety of the scientific journal and the guarantee of scientific publication therein were also explained. The attendees expressed their constructive interaction by opening dialogue and questions to serve the scientific process. Where the course was attended by a group of professors and teachers of the college.
