The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences held a seminar entitled (Calculating the Dimensions of Irregular Forms), on Monday, 1/4/2020. by lecturer (Ghassan Adnan Qahtan), and the aim of the seminar was to compare the calculation of the dimensions of regular and irregular shapes, and to address the mathematical applications of the dimension through calculating the dimension of the Milky Way and fractal shapes, how much the lecturer dealt with methods of calculating the dimension such as the number of squares method as well as the logarithm method and the method of straight inclination , The seminar was attended by a number of college professors and teachers.
