And because everyone knows that sustainable development will not be achieved without investing in higher education and scientific research. In this sense, after applying to God, the physics department in the 2015-2016 school year has developed according to very simple financial and financial possibilities and without any financial allocation from any side. Excellence and quality in education have been two goals that have motivated the department since its inception and will also remain in order to ensure the sustainability of excellence and the adoption of free competition as a basis for development. The department will continue to adopt best practices and adapt to changes around it. The department will also focus on developing scientific research capabilities to meet the challenges. Appropriate and appropriate environment to encourage creative research activities of a global level. In order to accomplish this task, the focus has been on attracting qualified cadres for the purpose of reaching the stage of self-sufficiency from the scientific staff of the department, especially in specialized subjects, where the number of teaching is currently 14, half of them PhD and the other half have a master’s degree, Of their PhD studies in Iraq and abroad. Two PhD holders are graduates of the University of Cardiff and the Lebanese Arab University of Beirut.
The department currently has six main materials labs with two labs for each stage and an electronic computer lab. We are now in the process of completing the rest of the requirements for the fourth stage of the next school year. Planning for opening the evening study next year, God willing. The main goal is to reach the postgraduate stage after completing the requirements and conditions. Necessary.
