Department of Biology Opens the library of plants
Under the patronage of Prof. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences Najm Abdul-Hussein Najm Al-Muhtarem and Head of the Department of Life Sciences, Dr. Yasmine Khudair. The Department of Biology at the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences opened the Al-Maasheb Plants Library under the supervision of Dr.M. Nepal Amtir on Thursday 10/5/2018. The aim was to use dried plant models classified as observations for students in the scientific classes of plant classification and plant anatomy, A scientific and research center, which is used to study and preserve plant specimens, helps researchers and students in medical, pharmaceutical, scientific, agricultural and other schools to provide them with plants, their classification and all relevant information, which contributes to the study of any phenomenon related to plant diversity at the local and regional levels.
