Department of Graduate Studies
The graduate studies at the College of Education for Pure Sciences are the vital and effective center in the college, which includes two departments: Life Sciences and Chemistry. The Department of Life Sciences has opened a Master’s degree since 2002 and a PhD study in 2008.While the Masters study was opened for the Department of Chemistry in 2015 , And various specialties to promote the scientific level of the College.
The Division of Postgraduate Studies has several tasks and duties including circulating the regulations and instructions for submission of postgraduate studies approved by the Ministry to the departments, follow up the instructions of all the students and the academic leave of the staff, follow up the extensions of the students and the exceptional extensions and issue the official books to facilitate the task of postgraduate students to all parties related to research Students and the examination of messages and postgraduate students and directing students to the need to comply with the instructions of the ministry and the description of the certificate headquarters by the Secretariat of the Council of the University and the issuance of university orders to graduate students After graduating check Oulyathm.
mission :
Receive the files of students applying for studies and guide them on the requirements of submission and follow-up details of all files.
Create a special file for each student accepted in postgraduate studies and follow-up what is found throughout the study period.
To provide students with admissions and direct support for the purpose of obtaining academic leave.
Provide students with the support to continue the study during the duration of the study upon their request.
Provide students with important books to facilitate the completion of their research requirements.
Issuing the documents in Arabic and English in addition to supporting the graduation of Bonn grades or degrees and sequence as requested by students.
Follow-up rates of completion of research for students and then requests for extension to complete their research.
Conversion of letters and notes to scientific and linguistic evaluators and to the Commission of Astrology.
Issuing the administrative orders for the discussion committees and following up on sending them to the ministry and members of the committees.
Raising the grades of students after the discussion to the Secretariat of the Council for approval by the Presidency of the University.
Addressing the Presidency of the University to issue a university order to grant the certificate after students discuss and approve their grades.
The answer to the books received by the Division (inquiries, statistics, validity of issuance, postponement of students, promotion of enrollment or dropout, implementation of the orders of the College Council and the University Council in respect of postgraduate studies,
Issuing administrative orders to appoint supervisors for the students and then issuing administrative orders for supervising hours.
Preparation of books of thanks and appreciation for external professors participating as members of the discussion committees.
Qualifications :
The Director of the Division must have a doctorate degree in scientific specialization with an employee who holds a bachelor’s degree in scientific specialization and another employee who holds a bachelor’s degree in the specialization of computers.
General Knowledge:
The interest in the method of preservation and classification of students ‘files, and the sense of responsibility to work with complete confidentiality in relation to students’ private and public data, and honesty at work.
Telecommunications :
The work of the Division requires direct contact with the department heads, the Dean’s assistant, the Dean and some contacts with the other people in the Deanship, in addition to some external contacts with some colleges and professors.
