The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib, held a meeting with the Private University Education Department, and they discussed the file of admission, honoring the first, scientific innovations and promotions, and employing graduate degree holders in private universities and colleges.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by the head of the scientific supervision and evaluation body, the director of the private university education department and a number of department heads, the minister praised the outputs of the electronic admission system, which is supervised by the private university education department in the ministry to provide competitive opportunities to study in various disciplines in universities and private colleges, noting that universities and colleges Eligibility has made a positive contribution to providing educational services, accommodating preparatory school graduates, and providing scholarships in the medical group, in which the number of free admissions for this year 2022/2021 reached two thousand eight hundred and thirty-eight students.
He directed honoring the top students in private university education institutions, developing a comprehensive system for admission, following up on graduates of private universities and colleges, and archiving the data of students and graduates and their university belongings and study units completely through a system that includes digital portals for admission, study and graduation.
He stressed the need for the development file to meet the scientific and academic conditions and requirements in light of the requirements stipulated in Law 25 of 2016, taking into account the geographical distribution and indicators of population growth and the community’s need for the quality of the required disciplines and intensifying the work of the competent ministerial committees in charge of the necessary assessment, urging at the same time to benefit from the holders of higher degrees And employing these energies in a manner appropriate to the expansion of the provision of educational services. During the meeting, he discussed the file of academic promotions for teachers in private universities and colleges, pointing out the importance that promotions and academic titles be subject to the same legal and scientific standards and give more integration and cooperation in this field with government universities.
The attendees reviewed the infrastructure file in light of the academic limitations and indicated the need to develop and improve the university environment in accordance with the quality requirements of the disciplines accepted by the students.
