The Sixth Periodic Meeting of the Committee of Deans of Faculties of Education in Iraqi Universities

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saidi, the respected College of Education for Pure Sciences and the College of Education for Human Sciences hosted the sixth periodic meeting of the colleges of education in Iraqi universities with the participation of the deans of the colleges of education in Iraq and at the University Presidency Hall in the University City Complex Freiha. The president of the university said that the University of Karbala is happy today to host this important and vital meeting, especially as we are heading today towards urban education in general, stressing the importance of faculties of education in graduating well-equipped and armed cadres in science and knowledge and with a strong skill in teaching, as they will be responsible for leading the community in terms of education and learning . On the other hand, the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Prof. Hassan Al-Kuraiti, said that the meeting took place in joint coordination between the Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences and the College of Education for Human Sciences with the Chairman of the Deans’ Committee, Dr. Nassif Jassem Al-Khafaji.

The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, added that this meeting is the first in attendance for the Deans of the Colleges of Education Committee after the Corona pandemic, explaining, “The meeting discussed a number of matters, including the correspondences received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as topics Several distributed over multiple axes that would contribute to the process of knowledge development at the level of Iraqi universities and colleges, according to the foundations of quality in updating and developing curricula in a way that contributes to improving the outcomes of colleges that are concerned with community service.
