The College of Education for Pure Sciences Discusses a Doctoral Dissertation on the Effect of Sesame Oil after Menopause on female Rats, a Functional and Histological Study

PhD Thesis Discussion

A doctoral thesis of the student (Ali Hussein Kazem Al-Akashi) was discussed on Monday, June 13, 2022 and in the hall of the late Professor Hussein Ali Abdel Latif in the College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Karbala about his thesis tagged (the effect of sesame oil on postmenopausal in female rats, a study functional and histological). The aim of the thesis was to measure the levels of some blood parameters, including measuring the level of red blood cells, white blood cells, hematocrit and hemoglobin, and measuring the levels of some hormones in the blood serum, including measuring the level of estrogen, progesterone and some pituitary hormones such as prolactin and follicle stimulating hormone, and measuring the levels of some Oxidative stress criteria for serum.

The thesis included several recommendations, including: a study of the effect of sesame oil (physiologically and histologically) on dairy animals during pregnancy and lactation, and a physiological and histological study of the effect of sesame oil on female rats who removed their ovaries instead of sesame oil.
