Student Awareness Activity

The students of the Department of Chemistry/the third stage of the morning study at the College of Education for Pure Sciences held an awareness activity entitled “Paracemol: Benefits and Harmful to Human Health”, under the supervision of the Head of the Chemistry Department, his professors, and students of the department. The aim of the activity was to educate students about the benefits of paracetamol, as it relieves pain, aches, joints, bones and headaches, maintains high body temperature, reduces anxiety and depression, treats influenza and colds, and reduces infections of the teeth, ears and throat.

On the other hand, it is harmful to human health, as it affects the liver and causes nausea and skin rashes. An excessive dose of Paracetamol is dangerous and may cause severe danger to the liver, and large doses may be toxic to people who consume alcoholic beverages.
