Students of the Department of Biological Sciences Organize a Field Visit to the Noor Al-Imam Al-Hussein Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired

 The Department of biology at the College of Education for the Pure Sciences/University of Karbala held a student field activity under the supervision of some of the department’s professors. Within the activities and visits conducted by the department, a field visit was made to the Noor Al-Imam Al-Hussein Institute, peace be upon him, for the blind and visually impaired. The nature of the work of this institute, its departments, how to manage it, deal with the beneficiaries, participate in distributing some gifts to blind students, and the symbolic participation of professors and teachers in their efforts to deliver information to the blind student and take care of him, which represents a challenge in itself despite the lack of support and with self-efforts. At the end of the visit, it was agreed to repeat such activities and increase the prospects of cooperation to shed light on that segment that deserves all the support and backing.
