Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences Meets the Students of the Fourth Stage in the Department of Physics

The meeting of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences with the students of the fourth stage of the Department of Physics


The respected Mrs. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Idan Salman, met with the students of the fourth stage in the Department of Physics as a result of their objection to the increase in attendance materials and the limitation of working hours in these subjects to three days. The Dean explained to the students that the college adhered to what was stated in the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which specified that the exam should be in attendance for all basic subjects, regardless of the nature of the lectures, whether electronic or in-person.
For her part, the Dean made it clear to the students that attendance should be for the basic subjects in order to make full use of the lectures and for the students to be fully prepared to take the exams. The Dean also confirmed that the above topic is the focus of the university presidency and will be discussed in the university council. The students understood the measures taken by the college, and their demand was to add a fourth day to the attendance day. Where (Prof. Hamida Idan Salman) promised the students to raise the issue at the meeting of the University Council scheduled to be held on this day, and the students will be informed of the university’s decision through the department’s presidency and thus the meeting with the students ended. After the Dean raised the issue in the University Council, the approval was given to add a fourth day to the attendance day for students of the fourth stage.
