A Panel Discussion at the College of Education for Pure Sciences Discusses the Application of Microcontrollers in Scientific Experiments

Panel Discussion

In the Department of Physics in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, a panel discussion was held entitled (Application of microcontrollers and their types and how to employ them in conducting scientific laboratory experiments) based on linking a set of sensors with the Arduino device and calculating the results. delivered by M. Dr. Rasul reproach Ramadan.
Where the discussion included the use of the Arduino-UNO microcontroller with a set of sensors for the purpose of calculating some physical concepts. The objective of the seminar was to calculate physical concepts such as calculating the ground acceleration using a simple pendulum, calculating the free fall of objects, finding the density of water, achieving the Hall effect experiment, calculating the self-inductance of a circular coil, and calculating the current and voltage characteristics of the solar cell. The lecturer made it clear that most of these low-cost experiments are established instead of high-cost experiments. The discussion was attended by the head of the department and a number of professors and lecturers.
