In Implementation of the Scientific Memorandum of Understanding Signed between the College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Kerbala and the University of Lorestan / Islamic Republic of Iran, a Scientific Lecture and Workshop Were Given in the Department of Biology by Asst. Prof. Dr. (Hamid Khodayari)

The lecture aimed to identify gene expression in plants, which is of great importance in improving their growth and adaptation to the environment. It helps in enhancing plant resistance to diseases and pests, which reduces the need for pesticides.
The lecture included several applied axes by finding solutions that include contributing to increasing agricultural productivity and improving crop quality in terms of nutritional value and taste. It plays a role in the response of plants to environmental conditions such as drought and salinity, which enhances the sustainability of agriculture. It is also used in genetic engineering to produce genetically modified crops with improved traits that meet food security needs.
