First Scientific and Cultural Mathematics Festival 2018
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Munir Humaid Al-Saadi, President of the respected University of Karbala, under the supervision and follow-up of Prof. Dr. Najem Abdul Hussein Najm, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, in cooperation with the Imam Hussein Center for Development and Education. The sports section of the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences held the first scientific and cultural festival on Monday 7/5/2018. The festival included holding a lecture, a scientific symposium, a scientific book exhibition, an exhibition of photographs and scientific posters and a charity market for the children of martyrs of the security forces and the popular crowd. The festival aims at scientific cooperation and the exchange of scientific experiences among the mathematics departments in the Iraqi universities, activating the role of mathematics in society, establishing scientific, cultural and social activities, and holding office and photo exhibitions. The festival was attended by a number of math professors from Iraqi universities, professors and teaching of our college.
