The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences held a seminar entitled (Removing dyes from aqueous solutions by using Tio2 as a photocatalyst), which was given by M. Muhammad Taher, on Tuesday 26/1/2021, and the aim of the seminar was to learn about the techniques used in water technology from pollutants, and to identify advanced oxidation processes and their benefit in purifying pollutants, as well as the applications of titanium oxide Tio2 nanoparticles and the methods used to improve His performance as a photocatalyst in hydrogen production and water purification processes. The head of the Chemistry Department and a number of professors and instructors attended the seminar.
